**ARVO Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable, and do not include registration fees for meetings.**

Any individuals looking to obtain an ARVO membership for the first time, should proceed to [Join ARVO](https://www.arvo.org/login?returnurl&IntendedUrl=https%3a%2f%2fwww1.arvo.org%2feWeb%2fDynamicPage.aspx%3fWebCode%3dARVOMemberJoin+%26Site%3dARVO2015&Site=ARVO2015)
**All new members are required to create an ARVO account linked to their First/Last name and email address. If you have previously been a member of ARVO at any time, but cannot remember your login information, please contact arvo@arvo.org for assistance.**

ARVO Members who are students and/or trainees in the early stages of their career. Membership dues are significantly lowered for this class of members.

When an ARVO member first joins, they are asked to choose their [scientific section](https://www.arvo.org/About/scientific-sections/) of interest. Log into your member account to view or change your scientific section.
