Instructions to claim credit for ARVO 2024



The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ARVO designates this live activity for a maximum of 23.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Accreditation sessions are indicated as such within the online planner and mobile app. Use the CME filter to list accredited sessions.

The deadline to claim credit is 11:59pm EST on August 31.

Login with your ARVO username and password. (Use the forgot password link, if needed).
Click the title of the event
Follow the onscreen instructions to add sessions. When complete, click the review and submit link in the upper right corner.
Click to Finalize the record. (No changes can be made after you click Finalize).
Complete and submit the evaluation
Return to the My events page and download your certificate.

Eligibility to claim credit


Attendees who register for CME credits and pay the processing fee before the end of the meeting are eligible to claim credit for attending accredited paper, cross-sectional group sessions, minisymposia and symposia. Attendees registered as guests are not eligible to receive CME credit.

Instructions to add CME to your registration

Payment is collected during the registration process by adding “CME credits and certificates” as a session.
