### 2025 Abstract submission deadline
${color}[#000000](The abstract will open on Friday, October 18, and close on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11:59 PM  (ET).)

${color}[#000000](ARVO membership for 2025 requires an abstract to be submitted. Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable and do not include meeting registration fees.  )

${color}[#000000](Meeting registration fees To submit an abstract for the 2025 Annual Meeting, membership application and payment needed to be received by ARVO:)

* **by Dec. 3, 2024, if submitting a paper membership application via mail**
* **by Dec. 5, 2024, if you wish to join/renew your membership online**

*Abstracts must be work not submitted for formal publication or to a preprint server before the abstract submission deadline. After the Jan. 6 abstract submission deadline, an author can submit their abstract to a journal for formal publication or to a preprint server.

* Further details regarding the 2025 Abstract deadline, including submission guidelines will be posted on the [Abstracts page](https://www.arvo.org/annual-meeting/abstracts/abstracts/) of the ARVO website in October 2024.
